Following up on our interview with POST—, in which we focused on their ongoing work with unisex clothing label Bethnals, we thought we'd share a few more images of the London flagship store that they designed. Read a description of the project from POST— below:
After a successful year since its initial launch, unisex denim brand Bethnals was ready to open its debut store set in the perfect heritage setting of East London’s famous Old Spitafields Market.
We designed the interior layout, exterior signage, promotional campaign and also worked with local East-London furniture makers to create bespoke, retail-focussed pieces which would display the garments at their best.
Located in one of the store fronts along Brushfield Street, the minimally branded exterior of the shop was kept in-keeping with the traditional visual guidelines of the market, while the spacious interior layout had a clean and modernist aesthetic designed to be as unobtrusive as possible.
Partnering with Unto This Last we adapted a range of their existing furniture pieces to suit the Bethnals product, while also working to design a range of bespoke clothes rails and a free-standing changing room area.
