Collected by dn&co.
London based studio dn&co. has recently celebrated their 10th birthday and launched a book called Collected. The book brings together process shots, behind-the-scenes snaps and still-life photographs of production materials, all in celebration of the studio's most significant placemaking works over the last decade.
Covering projects such as St James's, Here East and Television Centre, Collected gives a feel for the work that goes on behind the design and production, from print techniques to supergraphics, film, and large-scale installations.
dn&co. have also collated all the imagery onto a website, which you can visit below.
Joy Nazzari, founder of dn&co says:
“Over the last 10 years we have evolved from being a studio that worked in architecture, into a collective determined to defeat the rise of ‘monoculture’ in our cities and societies. Collected celebrates the craft behind this uncompromising attitude, where we constantly ask ourselves – is it good, could it be better?”
Patrick Eley, Creative Director of dn&co says:
“We deliberately wanted to move away from a polished retrospective by focusing on the bits of our work that often remain unseen – the moments when you investigate, play, test and discover. Going through our archives helped us revive those moments of inspiration – moments that challenged our thinking or even helped us change direction. With Collected, we wanted to celebrate the unfinished and imperfect and rejoice in the beauty and excitement of the journey.”
