Callin Mackintosh’s lookbook for a graduate fashion designer displays the consuming nature of grief
London-based designer Callin Mackintosh created the lookbook for Westminster Fashion Design student Catriona Wilson’s graduate collection, ‘Judith’. Catriona’s highly personal work reflects her journey through the consuming nature of grief and the ever-fading imprint of her lost mother. She recreated and delicately distorted pieces from her late mother’s wardrobe to create a collection packed with the emotions of loss and mourning. Callin’s approach to the lookbook reflects this journey through the use of a haunting serif typeface, delicate uncoated stocks and soft colours.
