CO-OP by Bryan Chu

Identity and concept for an exportable performance model of art and music. The CO-OP questions the relationship of art and music and old models of concerts/exhibitions through the idea of collaboration. Artists and musicians are curated and paired together to collaborate on what becomes a temporary performance piece. The identity allows each collaboration to take on a different visual approach. The ‘O’s of the logo become placeholders that symbolise an open space and hints at the collaborations that will take place. For each event the ‘O’ is represented differently based on the artists’ and musicians’ work and how their works react to one another.
