Demande Spéciale devises an anvil-inspired identity for territorial development studio Enclume

Montreal-based studio Demande Spéciale devised the identity for Enclume, a territorial development studio specialising in the planning, design, and analysis of various spaces.

Enclume is the French word for the anvil, a peculiarly-shaped iron block used for hammering and shaping metal. Multiple graphic silhouettes referencing the shape of the anvil provide the identity with a quirky personality and represent the spaces in which Enclume conduct their work. The adaptive graphic system can be toned up with multiple vibrant colours or toned down to be monotone, depending on when and where it’s being used.
