Les Levine: Transmedia 1964 – 1974 by Underline Studio

Artist Les Levine is widely acknowledged as the founder of media art, having pioneered new categories such as disposable art and software art during the late 1960s. As a part of Levine’s ‘Transmedia’ exhibition at Oakville Galleries in Toronto, Underline Studio were commissioned to design a catalogue which draws on his experimentations with different forms of media.

The catalogue uses a range of production techniques that reference different aspects of Levine’s work, such as reflective silver ink, plastic paper, a bellyband and tip-ins.
