Marcelo Burlon County of Milan by Bureau Mirko Borsche

Patagonia native Marcelo Burlon has become a mainstay in the fashion, music and nightlife scenes through his County of Milan moniker. Starting as a hypebeast-adored collection of animal-print t-shirts, County of Milan is now a fully-fledged clothing line showing ready-to-wear garments at Milan Fashion Week.

They enlisted Munich-based studio Bureau Mirko Borsche to restructure and redesign their visual identity in-line with their exponential growth. The new identity is based around a rework of legendary Turin-based designer Aldo Novarese’s typeface Forma, known as Forma Nuova. The clean, simple typographic applications seen across the stationery and packaging act as a contrast to the bold, experimental graphics on the clothing.
