Nike Free by M35

Sydney-based design consultancy M35 has collaborated with Nike’s Portland design team to create a visual identity system for the Nike Free running shoe. Having first launched in 2005 to replicate the experience of running barefoot, the shoe has relaunched in 2019 with a focus towards the science and natural benefits of the product.

The identity includes logo lockups, grid systems, a bespoke typeface and a colour and material palette. The modular system enables flexible local implementation by all of Nike’s design teams around the world.
