Piña by Saul Studio

Based in Sheffield, Piña is a Mexican restaurant and bar that focuses on mezcal, tacos and sports.

Their visual identity, designed by Saul Studio, is inspired by the cultures of Mexico and Sheffield. The steel blue colour is a reference to Sheffield’s industrial heritage and to the ‘weber azul’, a part of the tequila production process. The typeface used is Bureau Grot, which was designed by the first active type foundry in Britain, Stephenson Blake, who were based in Sheffield.
