Place Press is an independent publisher recently founded by London based brand and design consultancy dn&co. It launched at London Design Festival with the first publication being ‘Otl Aicher’s Isny‘. Three more books are currently in development, including ‘Roberto’s Rio’, a look at how Roberto Burle Marx impacted 3km of Rio de Janeiro beach front.
At its simplest, the Place Press identity is a simple PP acronym created from a circle pushed into a rectangle. When turned 90 degrees, it looks like the pages of a book turning — a visual metaphor for their constant movement and quest for knowledge.
