Place Press by DNCO

Place Press is an independent publisher recently founded by London based brand and design consultancy DNCO It launched at London Design Festival with the first publication being ‘Otl Aicher’s Isny‘. Three more books are currently in development, including ‘Roberto’s Rio’, a look at how Roberto Burle Marx impacted 3km of Rio de Janeiro beach front.

At its simplest, the Place Press identity is a simple PP acronym created from a circle pushed into a rectangle. When turned 90 degrees, it looks like the pages of a book turning — a visual metaphor for their constant movement and quest for knowledge.
