Q Le BAKER by Never Now

Q Le BAKER is an artisan bakery in Melbourne, owned by Marion David and French baker Quentin Berthonneau. Never Now were tasked to create a modern visual identity that also reflected the simple traditions of Quentin’s baking processs.

The logotype uses a modified version of Romana by French type designer Theophile Beaudoire. The leg of the ‘R’ has been replaced and the tail of the ‘Q’ has been modified to align centrally. The words bundled into the enlarged ‘Q’ have a charming and elegant feel and link to the company’s pre-existing tagline, ‘A Balance of Cultures’.
