VASH is an Australian luxury leather accessories brand aimed at women that value timeless style with a touch of individuality. Their products are influenced by founder Vash Uys’ love for travel and combine natural materials with a functional, fuss-free design ethos. Auckland, New Zealand-based Studio South was brought in to refresh the visual and strategic direction of the brand to reflect VASH’s growing range of products five years into their existence.

The process included developing and refining the core brand assets; and planning and executing two photoshoots. One being product specific to add a layer of emotion to the bags and the other a location shoot to project an aspirational lifestyle for the brand’s customers. The result is a simple and cohesive brand experience that draws on the earthy and material qualities of the products and the stories behind them. Studio South will continue to art direct and produce campaigns for VASH’s upcoming collections.
