Antwerp-based studio Vrints-Kolsteren was commissioned by Fine Art and Friends, an arts institution in the nearby town of Mol, to design their new visual identity. Fine Art and Friends support another of Vrints-Kolsteren’s clients, the Academy of Arts Mol, by organising conferences, projects, exhibitions and workshops.

The new identity revolves around a bespoke sans serif typeface that aims to communicate in a clear and recognisable way across all media types through its brutal yet friendly forms. Its compact shapes allow it to scale across a varying scale of environments such as posters, t-shirts and leaflets. To contrast the vibrant palette used by the Academy of Arts Mol, Vrints-Kolsteren stuck to a neutral colour scheme of black and off-white.
