Workaround by Studio Round

Presented by RMIT Design Hub, Workaround was an exhibition that took place in July and August 2018, consisting of 14 female practitioners and their involvement in the expanded field of architecture. It became a quiet but powerful form of activism, inviting the entire city of Melbourne to consider the environmental, social and professional challenges we all face.

The dynamic identity, designed by Studio Round, captures the idea of broadcasting as a means of advocacy. The design of the catalogue was inspired by old TV guides through the use of light disposable paper stock and a staples and folded format.
