The second edition of Antwerp Poster Festival is about type. What type of designer are you? What type do you use? Simply put, what’s your type? Founders of the festival, Antwerp-based creative agency ssnn see this intentionally broad topic as an opportunity for designers to question themselves and their work: “Do you have a certain vision on what design should be? Do you follow the rules of typography or do you say fuck it? What’s the thing you like the most? Or what’s the thing you really hate?”.

The festival is open to entries from anyone and everyone: students, amateurs and professionals; until 31 July 2020. Posters can be self-initiated or made for a client. The only conditions are that they must be A0, a minimum of 120 DPI and using CMYK colours. After the deadline, the jury will go through all of the submissions and handpick a selection for the exhibition, which will place in Antwerp in the latter half of 2020. The jury’s top three designs will be donated a selection of fonts from French foundry and Antwerp Poster Festival partner, TYPELAB.
