DixonBaxi reveal their studio, process and culture with free digital monograph Be Brave V2
DixonBaxi’s Be Brave V2 is a fully digital monograph that’s crammed with their never-seen-before work, untold stories, unique perspectives and immersive insights. It’s the London-based agency’s most open-source book to date, expanding on the concept set by their early 2020 printed publication Be Brave. Everything from their rebrand of AC Milan to their extracurricular activity is captured in great detail throughout its 450 pages.
V2 explores new territory through a customisable, bespoke user interface that allows the reader to dip in and out of the experience as they please. Co-founder Aporva Baxi tells us that they “wanted to keep the experience as close to a book as possible, so the design approach is similar to a publication while taking advantage of the digital experience through the custom thumbnail UI, grid view, video and audio tracks. Even down to the feeling of flicking through the pages as you move through the book was something we tried to capture.”
2020 so far has shown that together, we can make a difference. Rather than charge for the book, DixonBaxi is asking readers, if they can, to make a modest donation to NHS Charities or COVID Relief Fund.
