The Symphony Orchestra and Select Others, better know as so&so, is a group of classical musicians aiming to break the mould of traditional symphonic performance by creating immersive experiences tailored towards young adults.

so&so’s brand identity and accompanying print collateral, social media graphics and website was designed by New York-based consultancy FAY.

The wordmark is set in the geometric sans serif Roobert by Displaay Type Foundry, which evokes both the precision and beauty of orchestral music with its curves. The clean typographic system is supported by a series of neon-like gradients that are particularly vibrant thanks to the pitch-black setting. Each of the orchestra’s performances has its own unique gradient motif, which is showcased across posters, social media and the website.
