Gordon House: Paint to Print by The District
Gordon House was a painter, printmaker and graphic designer, known for his work with shapes and grids during the 1960s. His clients included ICI, the Arts Council and The Beatles. Paint to Print was an exhibition celebrating his legacy, which took place in his hometown of Letchworth at the Broadway Gallery.
The identity for the exhibition, which included posters, wayfinding and print materials, was designed by Cambridge based design practice, The District. The pared back, typographic identity embraces geometric shapes used by Gordon House in his work and uses them playfully at different scales.
