Misshumasshu is a restaurant and bar in central Stockholm by two of Sweden’s leading chefs, Adam Dahlberg and Albin Wessman. They serve a playful mix of food inspired by the cultures of Tokyo, Stockholm and New York that includes noodles, ramen, sliders, sake and tacos.

In addition to Misshumasshu, the two chefs run a fine dining experience called Adam & Albin and an easy access noodle stop called Raamen. Misshumasshu positions itself right in between the two.

Swedish visual artist Daniel Carlsten designed Misshumasshu’s identity with the restaurants clash of cultures in mind, aiming to be as eclectic as the concept itself. Two leading elements of the identity are the colour red, and the use of off-the-shelf packaging which can be found anywhere around the world. The custom-made takeaway lunchbox was created as a reference to McDonald’s iconic Happy Meal as well as traditional bento boxes.
