Tora by Glasfurd & Walker

Tora is a Japanese sushi restaurant in Toronto, Canada, based on the concept of ‘Japanese tradition meets technology’. The identity, stationery, packaging, website, signage and photography is created by Glasfurd & Walker.

The identity is built around a high contrast custom typeface inspired by Japanese calligraphic lettering. The accompanying graphics are inspired by Japanese designer Koichi Sato and reference the technological and underwater themes of the interior design.
