Fashion label VILLAIN worked with independent German designer Maurice Masson on their minimal visual identity. They create sustainable hand-sewn garments from their Hamburg-based studio using locally-sourced materials.

By combining an extended sans serif typeface with a justified typographic treatment, the identity captures both the simple and playful characteristics of the brand.
