Through this update, designers have the freedom and flexibility to use a wide variety of styles, making everything in between the expected typographic weights an easy-to-access possibility. Since the update, variable typography has become an unstoppable force and regular occurrence in contemporary graphic design. In celebration of that, viction:ary’s On the Road to Variable explores an eclectic and exciting collection of work that experiments with the modification of existing typefaces, as well as the creation of new ones for a fascinating glimpse into the future of type.
