Dreams of New York is a project that evolved out of LA-based design studio Forth + Back’s ongoing love affair with the East Coast of the United States. They began wandering the streets of New York through Google Earth and eventually started to document the strange frozen images of life they found there. After countless digital forays into this weird wonderful landscape, they realised that there was something special happening that they needed to share with the world.

This book is the result of that realisation; coming together as a 208-page dream-like documentation of what they found in New York on Google Earth over the span of three years. In its small first edition run, Dreams of New York was selected as one of AIGA’s winners of the 50 Books / 50 Covers competition for 2019.
