Tech and policy guru Alfred Malmros, a former CMO of Google Ideas, has launched Early Studies. It’s a new type of think tank that describes itself as ‘a technology whatever tackling economic inequality’. Alfred’s strategy is to launch ideas, products and businesses before the policies, white papers and analysis that naturally arrive in the fast-paced tech industry.

Early Studies’ visual identity, by London-based agency Soft Power, was designed to be an uncompromising disrupter in the think tank space, just like the company itself. The centrepiece is the ‘es’ skull monogram. The skull a sign of science, but also a symbol for humanity without prejudice, which reflects the vision of Early Studies.
