Clase’s identity for design and architecture PR firm Labóh portrays a characterful dependability
In a wonderfully unique company format, Barcelona-based Labóh spans the disciplines; working with PR and communications across the architecture and design industries. Known for holding close relationships with their partners and clients, Labóh are leading the field in their personable and dynamic practice.
With the need for an identity to match their vigour, they turned to fellow Barcelonians Clase, who approached the project with a respect for the company’s business prowess within a creative environment. The result is an editorially stark but characterful identity, with a rich sense of value and trust distilled through refined and effortless typographic treatment. Taking inspiration from printed editorial design, the wordmark mirrors a newspaper masthead; further emphasising the fundamental grounding of respect, confidence and trust.
Finding their typefaces from within the realm of the printing press as well, Clase opted for ECAL Typefaces’ Concern as an elemental, sturdy underpinning to the typographic expression – whilst referencing Times through the use of Reckless as the primary typeface. The result is a subdued, simple but ultimately charming identity that conveys the spirit of Labóh; manifesting a personably colourful dependability and competency.
