Festival Periferia by Amateur(dot)rocks
Periferia is a music and arts festival that takes place on a small island outside of Buenos Aires, Argentina. The visual identity for the festival was designed by Dutch studio, Amateur(dot)rocks.
The name of the festival, ‘Periferia’ translates to ‘outskirts’. By definition, outskirts can be another town, country or continent but can also be new personal experiences. This informed the concept behind the identity. Amateur(dot)rocks created an abstraction of an island, that constantly transforms to represent the different experiences gained by individuals at the festival. The colour palette is a reference to the different shades of the sky that can be seen during an Argentinian summer day.
