Working closely with Arts for Dementia, London design agency Never Dull crafted a vibrant rebrand and brand system for the UK-based charity that not only unifies its online and offline experiences, but also celebrates its resilience and community spirit. As an organisation that champions the voices of those affected by dementia, their fittingly crafted logomark symbolises the charity as a guiding light, embracing imperfection and inviting others to do the same. This is complimented by a series of bespoke pictographs that aim to debunk misconceptions about the impact of dementia, by highlighting the agency retained by individuals with early-stage dementia. The team ensured that the website adhered to AA and AAA accessibility standards, thanks to its dedication to legibility and clarity, achieved through a carefully selected colour and typography palette.

Adorned in moonlight, the artwork for Max Richter’s highly anticipated classical album SLEEP: Tranquility Base is as serene, ethereal and beautifully haunting as the music itself. Featuring a dreamlike moonscape artwork created in collaboration with Dada Projects, the album depicts an expansive lunar world of space-age, astronautical materials and geological tones and textures. Alex Hunting Studio developed a bespoke typeface for the project – Richter Sans – that brings an elegant and utilitarian balance to the visual world. The album offers an immersive experience through its mix of type and kinetic texture, and is accompanied by a launch campaign, remixes, and digital canvases.

As part of their mission to celebrate the power of creativity through visually inspiring and engaging experiences, the team behind design festival INTL has launched The Playground, a new space for creative coding and digital tools. Designed and developed by Warriors Studio and Infinite Eye respectively, the platform aims to host, commission, and collaborate with creative coders and explore the possibilities of digital tools in encouraging play, expression, and organic use of code. As a collaboration between Warriors Studio and Kiel Mutschelknaus, the first launch introduces an interactive design tool Klee (named after artist Paul Klee) which captures the delight and effortless freedom of drawing by allowing users to sketch and paint with multimedia visual material – anything can be your ink! “Our role as designers is often centred around function, purpose, strategy and commerce, but as creative people it’s important to create for creation’s sake,” says INTL’s Beth Wilson. “Don’t forget to play.”

Located in the coastal city of Barcelona, Casamira is a multidisciplinary creative studio that believes in the communicative power that design holds to convey valuable messages. They demonstrate this in their mesmerising poster design, ‘Here and Now,’ that utilises the shape of a dot to express the present moment. According to the studio, each dot symbolises a different experience and opportunity available in that window of time. “Its message makes reference to the here and the now,” they explain, “seeking to inspire individuals to slow down, find solace in the now, and cultivate a deeper appreciation for the world around them.”

Powered by the powerful combination of AI and mathematics, Elara AI is an innovative tool that promises to unlock the untapped potential of your business by creating a digital replica – a “digital twin” – of the enterprise, which allows one to effortlessly navigate various situations and scenarios. When establishing the brand image for the service, Australia-based full service design studio Univers drew inspiration from the iconic AI HAL from 2001: A Space Odyssey. To mirror the omnipresent ‘all seeing’ qualities of Elara while introducing a digital LED display feel, Univers designed a hexagonal eye made up of small dots arranged at a 45-degree angle. As a robust and versatile visual element, these dots can be applied across videos, illustrations and other brand assets, ensuring a seamless translation of the brand mark.
